# How to associate a floating IP with the load balancer?

**To associate a floating IP with the load balancer, follow the steps below:**

**Step 1:** [Login](https://customer.acecloudhosting.com/index.php?m=ace_product_register_addon\&action=login) to your account.

**Step 2:** Navigate to **Networks** and then click on **Load Balancer**.

**Step 3:** Choose the load balancer with which you want to associate a floating IP, click on Actions, and choose Associate Floating IP from the drop-down menu.

**Step 4:** Select **Floating IP** from the drop-down menu and click **Associate**.
