# How to dissociate a floating IP from the load balancer?
**To dissociate a floating IP from the load balancer, follow the steps below:**
**Step 1:** [Login](https://customer.acecloudhosting.com/index.php?m=ace_product_register_addon\&action=login) to your account.
**Step 2:** Navigate to **Networks** and then click on **Load Balancer**.
**Step 3:** Choose the load balancer in which you want to dissociate a floating IP, click on **Actions,** and choose **Dissociate Floating IP** from the drop-down.
**Step 4:** Click **Confirm** to dissociate the floating IP.
