# How to create a backup of a volume?

Follow the steps below to create a backup of a volume:

**Step 1:** [Login](https://customer.acecloudhosting.com/index.php?m=ace_product_register_addon\&action=login) to your account.

**Step 2:** Navigate to **Storage** and then click on **Volumes**.

**Step 3**: Choose the volume you want to back up, click **Actions,** and choose **Create Backup** from the drop-down menu.

**Step 4**: Fill in all the required details and click **Submit**.
